Savebox basic

Additional storage to our other health vending machines

SaveBox Basic is an add-on health vending machine, an extra unit to be connected with other ‘master’ medical vending machines such as SaveRing, SaveBox Smart or SavePro to increase storage capacity. SaveBox Basic is controlled by the master unit’s software via the master’s display. It can control the consumption of fragile, expensive, large or heavy products that are distributed less frequently and also the tiniest items thanks to our custom-made built-in scale.

Why SaveBox Basic?

  • SaveBox Basic has many variations to choose from.
  • The standard SaveBox Basic has doors from 2 to 10, and all door sizes are the same.
  • You can connect more SaveBoxes together in any combination so you can even have a wall of them according to your needs. This makes it a uniquely flexible solution!
  • All doors are equipped with strong glass windows, allowing you to see the insides.

Extra, but important

  • With a custom-made built-in scale – you can use SaveBox Basic for the 100% controlled distribution of small items, which are stored in bigger volume and difficult to measure one-by-one.  Scroll down for more on the scale!

What can you place inside?

Just some of the many possibilities

Built-in scale

SaveBox Smart can be upgraded with built-in scale units. With the help of the scale you can store and easily measure out small consumables and liquids, consumption of which has been hard to control. Scales can be built into one or even each of SaveBox Smart’s compartments and  the take-out amount is controlled by the built-in weight-amount calculator.

One scale can measure up to 17.5 kg and 10.000 pcs.

For the easy distribution of medical clothing, sheets or similar items, we developed 2 distribution boxes, that fit perfectly in the lockers.
The boxes come in two heights: 320 mm and 730 mm. But what makes them unique is their ADJUSTABLE SIDEWALLS: you can slide the walls in and out to fit to your items’ sizes perfectly.

Getting Glove Consumption Under Control

Challenge

The plant manager of a medium-sized production facility wanted to keep his operators working. He saw his employees waiting in the tool crib line for 10-15 minutes, at least 2 to 3 times a day. Stock-outs meant too much CNC machine downtime…

Solution

Trane worked with DoALL-DGI Supply to implement AutoCrib inventory control software…

Result

Now saving approximately

$72k

per year

Challenge

How could a leading air conditioner manufacturing company control PPE/safety supply costs – and do it cost-effectively? Employees had long queue times at the tool crib. And so employees began hoarding gloves in personal lockers or at their work centers. This was causing spiked demand, shortages and, in some cases, work stoppages for safety reasons. Additionally, employees had long travel times from their work center to glove supply and back.

Solution

Trane worked with DoALL-DGI Supply to implement AutoCrib inventory control software and dispensing systems. The company installed over 15 AutoCrib dispensing machines, including a RoboCrib 2000, throughout the plant for 100% secure access-controlled availability to the gloves, around the clock, and the systems are automatically replenished.

RESULT

“AutoCrib vending systems provided significant cost savings over the years. The hard cost savings are nothing compared to the soft cost savings of the implementation of AutoCrib at Trane.” Brian Parker, DoALL-DGI Trane Site Manager

  • By decentralizing the glove supply, employees are away from their work centers for less time.
  • As confidence in the system increased, hoarding was no longer necessary.
  • Reduced glove usage by up to 70%.
  • Increased efficiency with automated reorder reports.
  • Trane is now saving approximately $72,000 per year.
